Theory is all well and necessary, but it doesn't show any change.
Academia does a great job at theory but not at practice.
In a class like this one, I wonder, after all this discourse, what inner change and ACTION will take place, if any?
What is the role of education if it's not applied? Malcolm X speaks of this too in his autobiography; the smoke-screen that is academia. The wound is always deeper than what's being presented; a more digestible version, whitened, softened for the privileged masses...
